Oban 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch
This is a relatively straight forward whiskey. There is some really nice fruit in the sip, but it doesn't lead anywhere profound. It is, however, easy drinking, and without flaws. That surely counts for something.
Aroma: grass, hay, light honey, sweetness, mild salt and brine
Taste: grass, orange marmalade, apricot, lots of sweetness, some lighter honey, very mild spice
Finish: the fruit dies off quickly with the spice lasting a while, nothing in terms of lingering warms
Feel: lightly creamy
