White Oak Akashi Japanese Whisky
Eigashima, Japan's oldest and smallest distillery only produces whiskey for 2 months out of the year, the rest of the time being reserved for Sake and Shochu. We here at Ace are happy they take the time.
Using specially imported barely from Scotland and water from the same underground source used for the Sake and Shochu, this whiskey is then aged in once used bourbon and sherry casks. The result is citrus, black cherry, and toffee with vanilla and malty pine nuts.
