Bunnahabhain 46 Year Old Single Malt Scotch
Product Description
An elegant and complex whisky, this is the oldest member of the Bunnahabhain family. Citrus and heather honey are balanced with ginger and roasted nuts to create a silky but spicy malt.
The Story of Bunnahabhain 46 Year Old, Eich Bhana Lir (meaning "The great waves of the God Lir") is the oldest single malt ever released from Bunnahabhain Distillery. During the winter months, the distillery warehouses, situated close to the sea on the rugged northeastern coast of Islay, are often enveloped by the raging seas. As in Gaelic mythology, where the God Lir, the powerful ruler of the sea, used his great white waves to wash ashore his most precious gifts, so Bunnahabhain 46 year old Eich Bhana Lir is a majestic and treasured elixir indeed.
