BroVo's Boomerang is a complex cherry liqueur, rich and thick, and with lots of flavor. It's our gift to you.
Combining cherry, apricot, walnut, cinnamon, orange, vanilla and peppercorn, it is then sweetened to 15% sugar with 30% ABV. We start with our amaro base, a distillate that combines NGS with rhubarb and is then aged in used whiskey barrels. We transfer this base to tanks, where we next infuse dried cherry, apricot, walnut, orange, and vanilla into the base. We balance the base, then add cinnamon, peppercorn, and cayenne to finish. It is mixed with agave nectar and rests racks.">
That's because it is ginger, real ginger, grown-in-the-ground ginger.
We distill the ginger into high proof vodka, then infuse and blend. The final step is to lightly sweeten it with agave nectar to about 10% sugar content.
Like all of our liqueurs, it is clean and fresh, with a light sweetness.">

Hakutake Shiro is a lovely, balanced kumajochu in the best tradition of the style. While smooth enough to drink straight, on the rocks really smooths out the alcohol and makes this something to drink with any light meat or fish dish. Making mizuwari (blended with ice water) will lighten it further while Takahashi-san assures me that it is deliciously aromatic when made oyuwari (with hot water). I’ll be trying that come winter.">
