100% Merlot. The grapes are handpicked, de-stemmed and soft-pressed. After 48 hours' cold maceration, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 25° C (77° F), with painstaking pumpovers and cap punching for best color and soft tannin extraction. The wine subsequently undergoes malolactic fermentation. Partly aged in French oak barrels. Intense ruby red with garnet reflections, the bouquet is ample and intense, recalling raspberries, blackberries and violets.
